One-on-One Horse Lease Program

This program is for those individuals that want the luxury to lease a specific horse either by themselves or with one other rider. They are able to choose which horse they would like to build a relationship with and learn to ride. These leases can also be used for the trial of a potential sale or adoption.

Parameters for this program are:

MUST be a current student at the intermediate level

 2 group lessons per week are included in the lease price 

Leases are contracted at 3, 6, 9, 12 month intervals.

After 60 days, riders in this leasing program are required to purchase their own equipment: helmet, halter, lead rope, grooming supplies, saddle pad, saddle, and bridle. Persons may also rent their tack and supplies from LPF at the rate of

$200 per month.

Persons leasing are responsible for hoof trims every 6 weeks and any veterinary expenses incurred to maintain horse at peak condition. This could include but is not limited to veterinary, supplements, chiropractor, massage therapy, any traditional or alternative therapy required to maintain the health and well-being of the horse.

Full Lease $500

Lease to Adopt

This program is for those people interested in adopting a horse from HHER.  It consists of a 30 day trial of horse being considered for adoption.  After 30 days, a lease or adoption contract is required or horse will automatically be available for adoption to other individuals.  Price includes use of equipment for 30 days, PLUS 2 lessons per week.

30 day lease to adopt $650

Persons in this program are responsible for expenses of horse for the 30 day lease period.  Hoof trims (every 6 weeks) and any veterinary expenses incurred to maintain horse at peak condition are required.  This could include by is not limited to veterinary, supplements, chiropractor, massage therapy, or any other traditional or alternative therapy required to maintain the health and usability of the horse.

Specifics for each horse are disclosed BEFORE any adoption or lease contract is made.
